New moons represent the energy of new beginnings (full moons represent endings and closure), so why not think of something you want to embrace as a new beginning and go for it this weekend?
Here is a way to stimulate your personal power and your will power, both of which are centred in your solar plexus chakra. It is yellow which, handily, is the colour of self- confidence, passion, focus, will and drive!
- Focus your attention of the solar plexus chakra and sit quietly for a moment, thinking carefully about the new beginning you want to embrace and how much you want it.
- If you channel energy (e.g. Reiki or Mahatma etc), connect with it and let it flow into the chakra to stimulate it. If you don’t, simply visualise the colour yellow in the chakra – the brighter the better. You want the energy held in this part of your energy system to be really, really vibrant.
- If while you are focused on the chakra you see or sense the yellow held here is pale or has any patches of darkness, use the energy or the colour with intent (i.e. with the intention of clearing these blockages) and wait until you get the sense the chakra has been completely cleansed of whatever negative energy was lurking inside the vortex.
- Now go back to focussing on the chakra and visualising or just thinking about what you want what you want. This process of consciously placing your awareness in the energy centre will enhance all the qualities and powers held there and, when it is linked to the thoughts and images of what you want to embrace, it makes it far easier to manifest what you want to flow in to your life at this time of new beginnings.
- Repeat this regularly for a few days around any new moon.
Additional Note
The sacral (orange) and the brow (indigo) chakras are also associated with the energy of creating what you desire in your life. (The brow is the higher octave of the sacral). So repeating the above exercise in these two chakras will seriously enhance the manifestation process. Just change your awareness and the colour you work with in each energy centre.
