As we have just had a CME (coronal mass ejection) and the sun is currently sending lots of highly energised particles in our general direction, I thought something to help with the emotional fall out would be a useful thing to post on the blog.

When the sun expels particles from deep within itself, we reflect this in our own lives and lots of old emotional rubbish comes up to the surface – it is a massive opportunity for a deep clearing process to begin – how lovely for us!

What we need to do is just let it all come up and release it with ease and grace rather than re-bury it so we have to deal with it all over again the next time the sun erupts.

So, here is a simple crystal layout to help you after you have completed the release process. It will help restore emotional equilibrium:

• Rose quartz at the heart
• Smokey quartz at the solar plexus
• Amethyst at the thymus

Set the intention that you would like your crystals to restore emotional equilibrium – clear intentions get clear results – and leave them in place for 15-20 minutes. At the end, thank the crystals for their help, ground firmly and remove the crystals.

Using a programmed crystal with Quan Yin will enable you to store her energy in the crystalline matrix so you can tune into it later. All you have to do is pick up the crystal and ask it to send the energy to you. The crystal will release the vibrations stored in its matrix, and allowing them to flow into you. The energy will remain inside the crystal until you delete the programme.

You can programme any quartz, but rose quartz is a good crystal to use when working with Quan Yin because it re-awakens your heart to its own innate love and helps you to truly give and receive love on a new, deeper level. It also helps you to release fear, anger and resentment, neglect and lack of love and replaces these with the energy of unconditional love. It increases self-esteem and self-worth. Lastly, the stone balances your emotions and restores feelings of peace and tranquillity. It’s perfect!

To programme your crystal – cleanse it and ask the quartz if it is willing to store the energy of Quan Yin for you, so you can work with it whenever you want to. Once you have done this, the crystal will hold Quan Yin’s energy until you cleanse it, removing her energy and the request to store it. At this point you can re-programme it with another request, or let it rest. If the crystal says no – you must respect this and find another stone to work with.

Quan Yin holds the energy of love, mercy, compassion and forgiveness. Decide before you start working with her which of these qualities you want to focus on. It can be one or all four. You need to choose what will work best for you at the time you do the meditation. You can to work all of them together or work with one at a time and do a meditation for each quality. You can even programme four crystals if you want to, so each holds one of her qualities. You will know what to do once you make the decision to do the meditation. Trust whatever comes up for you.

Once your rose quartz contains the energy of your meditation with Quan Yin, you can:

• Use it during meditation to connect with Quan Yin again.
• Place it on a chakra to fill the vortex with the energy stored in the stone.
• Place it on an altar.
• Place it in a room to fill it with Quan Yin’s energy.
• Carry it with you so you can absorb the energy for the whole day.
• Place it beside your bed, so you can absorb it while you sleep.

QUAN YIN MEDITATION

• Relax and focus on your breath.
• Take your rose quartz and connect with it, placing it against your heart chakra. It will start to clear and expand the chakra, so it can absorb more energy from Quan Yin when you start working with her.
• When the crystal has finished working, blow on it with the intention of removing any negative energy it may have picked up from you and ask it to absorb and hold the energy from Quan Yin, so you can connect with it at any time you need it.
• Thank your crystal and place it in front of you to work while you work with Quan Yin.
• Now, ask Quan Yin to join you. When she does, thank her for coming and take a moment to attune to her lovely energy.
• Sit quietly with Quan Yin, focussing on her heart centre and ask her to send the beautiful energy she holds in her heart to your heart. See or sense it flowing from her heart to your heart, and allow yourself to become aware of the love she has for you… really feel it, and let it fill your heart and flow out to fill the whole of your body. Relax in this healing, nurturing energy.
• Now ask her to bless you with the quality (or qualities) you have decided to work with and see or sense this energy flowing from her heart into your heart and flowing into your crystal as well.
• Allow this energy to fill your heart and flow out into your body, with the intention of using it to clear any blockages you may have which are associated with the quality (or qualities) you have chosen to work with. And, as the blockages clear, see or sense the spaces being filled with Quan Yin’s loving energy.
• Stay with Quan Yin as long as you want to and when you have finished working with her, thank her and disconnect from her energy.
• Thank your crystal for storing her energy Ground and return

QUAN YIN CANDLE MEDITATION

You will need a large candle to represent Quan Yin and a small one to represent you. Please ensure you use the candles safely and take care when lighting the small candle with the large one.

• Relax and focus on your breath and then programme your rose quartz to hold the energy of the meditation if you want to connect with it later. Thank your crystal if you decide to work with it and place it in front of you to work while you work with Quan Yin.
• Ask Quan Yin to join you. When she does, thank her for coming and take a moment to attune to her lovely energy.
• Light your large white candle which represents Quan Yin and her energy of love and compassion, meditating on what Quan Yin actually represents to you and how this can help you in your life.
• Now use the big white candle to light the smaller one. As the small candle represents you, symbolically you are allowing Quan Yin’s light to flow into you and shine through you. Meditate on what this means to you once both candles are burning.
• After a while simply sit and let the energy of Quan Yin’s love and compassion fill every part of you and ask your rose quartz to absorb them as well.
• Disconnect from Quan Yin, thank her for sharing her love and compassion with you and your rose quartz, ground and return.

Well, the mega light download (4^th – 17^th March) has begun and I wanted to recommend a crystal to help you through the whole process … as always, with ease and grace.

There are lots of crystals you could use. In fact, really, the list is endless… or at least, very, very long. But some of them are expensive, or not  easily available, so I was looking for a good stone that  most people already have, or that you can get easily without spending a fortune. The answer – although I have already done a blog on it – is blue kyanite. But you can always do with reading about this stone all over again. It is fabulous.

Also, the big bonus is that you can do almost everything with kyanite. When you use other stones they are not always as versatile and you need more than one. So, kyanite is good, effective and it saves you money …… how wonderful is this stone?

You can find other details on my previous blog … somewhere … who knows when I wrote it. I’ve slept several times since then. Go looking if you are drawn to finding out more.

So, why will kyanite help …

• The first thing kyanite does when you come into contact with it is opens your chakras. Then you need to start working with it using your intention. You need to ask your lovely kyanite to clear and align your chakras and when you sense that has been done, ask your stone to clear and align you subtle bodies.  You can also ask it to align the seven layers of your aura, which is separate from your subtle bodies. This will help enormously when the light is downloading because it will flow smoothly through an energy system which is in good working order.
• It will also strengthen your nervous system – if you ask it to – which is another bonus. This will enable you to download and integrate increasingly higher and higher levels of high frequency light.
• It creates a channel when you use it above your head which helps the entire download process. All that light actually has somewhere to go and it can flow into your system more easily. Always helpful – in so many different ways!
• It will re-charge your energy system. If you check your chakras and find any of them are depleted – just hold the kyanite in the vortex, asking the stone to fill it with energy.
• If you feel physically depleted – hold the kyanite over the thyroid and the adrenals and ask it to replenish the glands with fresh new energy. It will always help.
• It mends any tears or cracks in the aura if you hold it within the auric sheath with the intention of letting the stone’s energy make the repairs. This stops you leaking energy. It also creates a strong protective field around you if you are feeling vulnerable, which is happening quite a lot lately.
• It emits a calm, peaceful energy and if you sit quietly and run your finger down the stone’s striations, it will help centre you and calm you down.
• If you find old rubbish coming up for clearance – it could well be illuminated by all the incoming light, allowing you to see it, perhaps for the first time – locate where the negativity is stored in your physical body and place your kyanite on the spot, asking for it to clear the negative energy. You can also make small cutting motions above the spot, as if the kyanite is a blade cutting away the blockage, shredding it into tiny little pieces. But please do this VERY GENTLY – no hacking – and ask the kyanite to clear the pieces from your Four Body System.

SIMPLE KYANITE MEDITATION

Kyanite – to calm and centre you and allow you to receive energy into your system. It will keep you receptive and it will ground spiritual energy, which is always useful.

Quartz – to draw the spiritual energy towards you.

Hold the clear quartz in one hand and the kyanite in the other, set your intention for your meditation and enjoy the energy which will flow into your system from both stones.

USING KYANITE AFTER A LIGHT DOWNLOAD HAS OCCURRED

• Sit quietly with the stone and allow it to stimulate the relaxation response by calming the autonomic nervous system, especially the part linked to the fight or flight reaction. Breathe deeply while the stone works and release any tension and stress.
• Place your kyanite on each chakra in turn, starting at the base, with the intention of using the energy flowing out of the stone into the vortex to clear balance and align each chakra and the whole system by the time you reach the crown.
• When you have done all seven chakras, sit with the stone asking it to integrate any high frequency energy in your system… with ease and grace. And, allow it to fill you with a feeling of wholeness as this occurs.
• When you feel you have finished the integration process, thank your stone, ground and return, after earthing any excess energy in your system.

Addition to Meditation.

One of the affirmations you can use with kyanite is: I AM balanced and whole. Once you have cleared the seven chakras and you are sitting with your stone, you can set the intention that you want to resonate the whole of your energy system with these words and just keep repeating them until you feel everything vibrating at the same frequency of your words – balance and wholeness.

So, I hope you find kyanite useful during this whole period of accelerated growth. It ends just in time for the equinox which is already being described with terms like important and powerful. So I suggest you use all this extra light to shift as much rubbish as possible, so when equinox brings its gift of balance, you will find it easier to integrate because you have less rubbish trying to  keep you out of balance, so to speak.

Of all the archangels, Chamuel is not the one I expected to be writing about (not that it isn’t good to write about him I hasten to add), but there were already several other archangels who have been wanting me to write about them, so it was a bit of a surprise when he jumped the queue. But he is such a lovely angel. I particularly like channelling his sound because it is quite exquisite and it is always worth finding some time in your busy day to sit with him, especially if you’re working on expanding your heart chakra and allowing more love into your life, though he will always encourage you to increase your self-love before helping you to find new ways to love others. This is because until you learn to love yourself, you have no way of really knowing how to love anyone else. You will only be fooling yourself and thinking you are loving them.

It is remarkably easy to work with Chamuel:

1. Sit quietly and ask him to join you.
2. Thank him for coming once he arrives and allow yourself to attune to his wonderful energy.
3. Ask him for his help.
4. Thank him for his help when you have sat with him or meditated with him for a while, ground and return your awareness to your body.

I mean really – how simple is that and why aren’t you doing it on a regular basis? Things like holding a crystal, using incense or lighting a candle are optional. If you like doing it – go right ahead, but they are to help you, not Chamuel. He turns up as soon as you ask him to.

So what can you ask Chamuel once he has arrived? You can ask whatever you want to – as long as it is done with great love and respect and you always send thoughts of love and gratitude to him after you have worked with him. Here are some examples:

1. Please help me clear my heart chakra and activate it at a new higher level, so I can embody more and more unconditional love and compassion.
2. Please help me clear my sacral chakra so I can learn how to love myself on all levels.

Chamuel’s angelic ray is the Pink Ray of Divine Unconditional Love. This energy balances and expands the heart, which will always increase your ability to love and nurture yourself and others. It also means, as you work with the energy, you will learn to give and receive unconditional love. How great is that? The Ray also has a pink flame associated with it. It is the Flame of Divine Unconditional Love

So what can you do with Chamuel’s ray? Well, the short answer is, of course, use it …. immediately! Here are some instructions that I use when I am guiding people in a mediation with this lovely angel.

• Sit quietly and ask Chamuel to join you. Thank him for coming once he arrives and allow yourself to attune to his wonderful energy.

• Now ask Chamuel to send his pink angelic ray deep into your heart to clear anything you are holding in the chakra which prevents you from feeling and experiencing self-love on all levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
• Sit quietly while Chamuel sends his pink angelic ray into your heart and you can enhance the process by intending to breathe out any blockages which the angelic ray brings to the surface for release.
• Thank Chamuel disconnect, ground and return.

An alternative to allowing Chamuel to fill your heart with his angelic ray is to ask him to ignite the Pink Flame of Unconditional Love in your heart with the intention of burning away anything in the chakra which no longer serves your highest and greatest good. Why not try both versions and see which one suits you the best? You have nothing to lose because they both work and they are both lovely!

And, once you have been blessed by Chamuel – it is time for you to pass on blessings yourself. Here are the instructions:

• Sit quietly and ask Chamuel to join you.
• Thank him for coming once he arrives and allow yourself to attune to his wonderful energy.
• Now ask Chamuel to send his pink angelic ray deep into your heart to clear anything you are holding in the chakra which prevents you from feeling and experiencing self-love on all levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
• Sit quietly while Chamuel sends his ray into your heart and fills it completely and set the intention that you want the angelic ray flow out of your heart to run through the healing pathways which link your heart to your hands.
• Now place your hands on your lap, palms up, and see or sense the energy of Chamuel’s pink angelic ray flowing out of your hands and floating away to bless any who are in need of Divine Unconditional Love on the earthplane at this time.
• Allow the energy to flow out of you as a blessing until you are guided to stop.
• Thank Chamuel and the angels of love. Disconnect, ground and return.

You can use the energy of Chamuel’s pink angelic Flame of Unconditional Love to do many things. Some are listed below, but feel free to add to the list. You will be on your own individual journey with Chamuel, after all! And the best journeys are always the ones you make up on the way. The flame will – when used with intent – immediately burn away all the thoughts associated with a situation or person, though if you are attached to the situation or person, you may have to hold any thoughts about it in the flame for several days before they go. You can also place in the flame the memories of all the times you have been hurt or disappointed or angry, and watch them burn. Or you can do one memory at a time. And, finally, if someone asks you to send healing energy – you can use your intention and send them the energy of the flame (or the pink angelic ray)

A mediation for the Pink Flame of Unconditional Love.

• Ask Chamuel to join you and take a moment to attune to his energy
• Now ask him to ignite the pink flame and see or sense the flame appear in front of you. Allow yourself to attune to its energy for a moment.
• Now see or sense the pink flame growing larger and larger until it is big enough for you to step inside it.
• Stand in the centre of the flame and allow the energy of unconditional love to flow into your physical body, filling it completely.
• As you continue to stand in this large flame, ask Chamuel to ignite a smaller once in your heart and decide what you want the flame to burn away.
• Now intend to let everything connected with the thing you wish to surrender to the flame to flow into your heart and into the flame where it is completely burned away.
• When this clearing process has finished see the flame in your heart growing smaller and smaller until it fades away. Then step out of the larger flame.
• Thank Chamuel, ground and return.

So, armed with all this information – go and sit with Chamuel right now and you will love it. He is a very kind and sweet archangel, and he will bring with him as a gift for you – joy and love. He will also help you to feel more calm, centred and peaceful.

Golden Tigers Eye

As the energy at the moment is so chaotic and we seem to be in a constant state of flux, not knowing if up is down or if down is, indeed, up. It certainly seems as if it is some days, so I thought I’d recommend working with tigers eye, especially since we have just had the first eclipse of the month and are hurtling towards the next one on 26^th February; and these two eclipses are linked with the two in August. The energy of these first two events will start working now and continue until August, so that is a huge energetic window to contend, with a total solar eclipse on 21^st August at the end of it – a complete re-boot of our energetic operating system, no less. So, tigers eye certainly will help.

Not only is it an excellent grounding stone when used at the base chakra – which helps at any time – if you place a stone on either side of the head it will re-balance the two hemispheres of the brain and integrate them. This combined with a stone on the base chakra will help you feel very calm and centred, especially since as well as grounding you to Mother Earth, tigers eye grounds you spiritually, so having it near the crown chakra will enhance this quality as well.

And if you want to enhance your grounding into the earth, place a piece between your feet while you use the stone at the base chakra, or place a piece under each foot to activate the feet chakras.

If you are well grounded, but you are you are stuck and don’t seem to have the energy you need to do anything positive in your life, use the crystal at the sacral chakra. Its vibration will increase courage, determination, alertness and patience, and it will increase the amount of positive energy you hold in your system. That is always handy since everyone and everything is, unfortunately, so negative at the moment!

Tigers eye will also increase your confidence and help you to recognize all the inner resources you already have and can use for any task you wish to complete; and at the sacral, another bonus is it will inspire and enhance your creativity, not to mention it will help you to utilize all your gifts, talents and abilities. It is a great stone to work with really!

Also in a 1 year of new beginnings, tigers eye is really useful. It will actually support your new beginnings and allow you to re-establish harmony in your life. I think we could all do with some of that at the moment. I know I could! The crystal gives off a soft, gentle vibration which promotes calmness, even in the times of change, so why not work with it and ask it to boost your will power, your emotional stability and your energy levels while you start making positive changes in your life. This will work best if you use the stone at your solar plexus.

If you find you are fearful of making changes, or find it hard to deal with change if it is thrust upon you for any reason, use tigers eye with a stone which helps relieve fear. I would recommend the very lovely rhodonite.

If you are contemplating making any major changes in your life, I would say – always meditate daily with tigers eyes for a while before you do anything. It will help in so many ways.

When used on the sacral and the solar plexus for this purpose, the stones will promote self-confidence and a real appreciation of your true personal power. They will also encourage you to trust your intuitive abilities. And, you can wear tiger’s eye before you make a change in your lifestyle, and use the stone to remind you in a positive way that the change is coming and it is safe for it to happen.

Lastly, the angelics associated with this stone are Gabriel and Uriel, so feel free to ask them to join you at any time you are using tigers eye. They will always be pleased to help in any way they can! It is also associated with Sekhmet if you would rather work with a goddess.

I hope you get a piece of golden tigers eye and use it to improve your life on all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. It is a marvel, though I am biased, and I would happily say that about any crystal!

But, please, if you find you are drawn to blue or red tigers eye instead – go for it! You are the one living your life and you will know on a very deep level what you need to do to make it wonderful!

Trust the thoughts and the feelings and go with whatever colour you need when you are drawn to work with it. The information above does work best with the golden stone, though.

Well, with the last 1 vortex on 27^th January, I was hoping we would have a nice quiet time after that – at least for a little while… silly me!

February is the start of the eclipse season, so there will be many energetic adjustments coming our way and then following swiftly on after that is a huge influx of light. It hits the earthplane on 4^th March and continues until 17^th March just in time for the shift on the Equinox. There is no way our energy systems will be really stable for a while…. unless, of course, we work at it.

I would recommend, as I always do – ground, ground and ground again and keep doing it, especially in March. But there are other things you can do to help yourself and ensure your energy is balanced while all these downloads and shifts are happening.

Peacock Ore is a fabulous stone. It is known as The Chakra Stone because it is so effective at balancing and aligning the entire chakra system, so it is the perfect stone to use during chaotic times like these. And, not only does it ensure the chakras are working perfectly, after it has done restored them for you, it will simultaneously align the physical body with the subtle bodies. I mean – how great is that?

It also works very powerfully at the crown chakra, cleansing and activating it. This will be particularly useful in March when the light downloads begin. If your crown if functioning at optimum, it means the light will flow smoothly into your system without causing too much disruption. I would seriously go and get yourself a piece of peacock ore right now and make it your next best friend!

You can also use it at the brow where it will help you re-discover long forgotten knowledge and open your inner sight – more helpful things during an upgrade and re-calibration process. You just meditate with the stone on the chakra, and as a wonderful added bonus, peacock ore helps you to reach and stay at a meditative state – you have to love this stone! If you sit in a circle of peacock ore while meditating, it is simply astonishing… try it!

And, at the brow chakra, it is also used to enhance clarity of thought, concentration, and focus.  It enhances understanding of difficult concepts, which will be just what we need over the next couple of months.

And, last, but definitely not least, it inspires the infinite energies of the universe to activate the maintaining energies of the body. Perfect when your body will need help adjusting to all the high frequency energy and light downloads. It also grounds excess nervous energy, which we will have in abundance nice everything kicks in during March

There is a very simple crystal layout you can do to help you utilize all the fabulous properties of peacock ore, plus the magnificent vibration of fluorite… another really useful stone at times like these. The key words for fluorite are – order out of chaos. Just what we need and it works incredibly well with the peacock ore. You will also need two clear quartz – tumble stones or points will do, but make sure you have two of the same type of stone, though I have to say to enhance the cleansing process, two points are much better for this exercise.

I have used it many times and found it very, very effective. You usually only need to do it once a week, but over the next two months the energy shifts could be extreme, so do it whenever you feel you need to, though do not do it more than once a day, please.

First you set your intention – you want your crystals to help clear, balance and align your chakra system and then align your physical body with your subtle bodies, stabilising your whole system at the most appropriate frequency for you when everything has finished. Then place your crystals.

• Peacock Ore – crown chakra
• Flourite – yellow, if possible, but any type will do – solar plexus
• Hold the two quartz – one in each hand. If you are using points – it will be point towards the wrist of your non-dominant hand, point towards your fingers of your dominant hand.
• Now visualise Divine White Light or Source energy, which ever you prefer, flowing into your crown chakra through the Peacock Ore. From there, together with the energy of the peacock ore, the energy will flow to every part of your Four Body System, carrying out your request. All you have to do is focus on your breath and let all the stones do what they do best – help you.
• If you feel any resistance to the whole re-alignment process, set the intention to release it on every out breath while the crystals are working.
• After ten minutes (or less – this crystal combination is fast!), thank your crystals, disconnect, ask for any excess energy to earth through your feet and then bring your awareness back to your physical body.

Healing. Protection, Divination, Peace, Cleansing, Grounding

Obsidian stimulates growth on all levels.

Just when we thought 2017 was going to be a relief after 2016 – new beginnings after completion – what is the stone which resonates to 10 (2+0+1+7 =10)?

Obsidian … not the easiest stone to work with, though it is one of the most powerful. It is known as a stone of truth and it will reveal everything, including things you have carefully buried to ensure you never ever find them again. In most cases it could be described as merciless because it exposes all flaws, weaknesses and blockages. Nothing can remain hidden if you work with this stone, so you have to be ready to do it. It is never for the faint-hearted, mainly because it has no boundaries or limitations, so it works extremely fast and with great power. So you need to make sure you work with this stone consciously, and with a really clear intention to get the most out of it.

But, on the bright side, it is deeply cleansing, so it enables you to clear anything which comes up quickly and efficiently, and it is good at grounding and protecting you so you will feel safe while you work. You just have to be really sure you want to do the work before you start.

Clear quartz will help with this whole process because it grounds and helps you express whatever the obsidian finds in your Four Body System.

If you find working with obsidian is difficult for you, use green aventurine, rose quartz or chrysocolla to soften its affects. Or use apache tears – these are nodules of obsidian, but they are more gentle. Or snowflake obsidian is another alternative. It is not as intense as black obsidian. Or seek out a qualified therapist. This is one of those stones where this may be necessary because it can bring up deeply held negative emotional states, and unpleasant memories. It brings deep soul healing and this can also start to clear negative ancestral energy and past life problems which have been carried forward into this life. You might need help to ensure they are completely removed. Obsidian magnifies all negative energy in your system so it can be fully experienced and then released.

Obsidian should be cleaned under luke-warm running water each time it is used. It is best charged in the early morning or late afternoon sun.

As always, there is lots of information available. Look it up if you want more, but for those of you who would like a few practical ways to work with the stone – here they are:

• Carrying the stone will block negativity of any kind. It stops psychic attacks and removes negative spiritual influences.
• Hold a piece in each hand or place a piece under each foot to ground. It activates an instant connection from the base chakra to the core of the Earth.
• Placing an Obsidian by the bed or under the pillow can draw out mental stress and tension over night. It can have a calming effect, but please be aware that it can also bring up the reasons for the stress and force you to deal with them. Use with caution if you do this.
• Place in the home, office, or sacred space to remove any unwanted negative energy. It will block geopathic stress and absorb up environmental pollution.
• Chakra Work – place the stone on the chakra and leave it for between 10 – 20 minutes.

Brow – it will activate the chakra as well as break through mental barriers and dissolve mental conditioning.

Brow – for past life healing use here… carefully, with a very clear intention. If you have come back to this life in order to resolve a past life issue, place obsidian on this chakra and ask about it, listening for the answer. It may help you discover the purpose incarnating at this time as well.

Sacral – to ground spiritual energy into the body.

Brow and Sacral – used with intention at these two places Obsidian will connect the mind and emotions.

Base – allows the energy of the upper chakras to descend and facilitate a deep healing of the Lower Self. When used on the sacral, the same thing happens. It must be used with caution if you do this because it will expose everything you need to release, including past life and ancestral issues in this position.

Make no mistake – this is a hugely powerful stone and working with it will change you – probably in ways you couldn’t possibly imagine and, in quite a few cases, it won’t be pleasant either because Obsidian makes you face up to and acknowledge your true self. It takes you deep into your subconscious mind where it will bring shadow qualities to the surface for release. And some of these shadow issues will be linked to past lives and your ancestral line. They will be deep-seated traits and behaviour patterns which can sometimes be difficult to shift. You must be prepared to face all this before you start working with Obsidian otherwise some of it could come as a very nasty shock!

But the good news is the stone will be ready, willing and very able to help you clear anything you find from the whole of your Four Body System. It is a complete marvel! And it is particularly helpful for people who are reluctant to let go of the past. It will initiate a deep, clearing process, enabling them to finally let it all go and move on with their life.

It can also be used very effectively in your personal self-development work as a tool to help you recognize all your negative thought and behaviour patterns. It’s lovely shiny surface just reflects everything back to you and it takes you past the symptoms you are presenting to the root cause of your blockage or imbalance. It will also help you clear and release everything once you have examined the problem and learned what you need to know from it.

Just please make sure your intention is very,very clear when you do this. You should ask the stone to remove any patterns you find from our auric field and your cellular memory – in to separate sessions. Do not request both clearings at the same time. Do one, let your energy settle and only make the second request when you feel ready for the clearing process. And, if you have any problems at all, please go to a qualified crystal therapist immediately for help.

But Obsidian’s greatest gift is that it helps you understand who you truly are and not who you think you are, and then it will find ways for you to integrate these two perceptions into a whole. A whole new you, in fact!

With the out-going energy of a 9 year and the incoming energy of a 1 year, things might seem a bit…. well, wonky….

Unfortunately for us, this is to be expected. With such a difference between the two years, the transitional period at the end of one and the beginning of the other was always going to be … odd, bizarre, weird… or any other word you want to use to describe your world while you are finally closing some doors and preparing to open others.

So, to ease you through it all, may I suggest using blue lace agate and rose quartz together. They are both wonderful stones and you can use them separately, but when their energies are combined it is particularly lovely.

If you want to know all the qualities the two stones possess, do look them up on line. There is always plenty of info available. This is just a tip reminding you that they will help enormously if you are feeling stressed. Blue lace agate is particularly useful if you have a tension-related headache. Its energy is very soothing. Do try it. Just lie down and put the crystal in the centre of your forehead. It works wonders!

So, as this is a year of new beginnings, it is important to re-balance and re-align. This will allow us to make the most of all our new opportunities when they arrive, and you will benefit greatly from making some time to sit with these two beautiful crystals. The blue lace agate will calm and soothe you and the rose quartz – well, that will just wrap you in the energy of Divine Unconditional Love – what could be better than that?

One last blue lace agate tip – when used in meditation it will first clear your throat chakra and when that is done it will make a connection up to the brow chakra and go up to the crown. This will help you connect to whatever higher aspect of yourself you usually work with, or your helpers and guides. So this will make accessing all sorts of guidance much, much easier.

Also, as it resonates very strongly with the heart it will help you to embody your heart’s desire – a fabulous thing in a year of new beginnings.

So please get yourself a piece of blue lace agate and rose quartz and, as you sit quietly with them, ask them to help to re-balance your body and your mind. Just don’t forget to thank them afterwards, though!

For this exercise – you can use any type of quartz: sphere, terminated, tumblestone, spirit quartz, phantom quartz, rutilated quartz or quartz with an inclusion like tourmaline, chlorite or red hematite.

Whatever quartz you have, you can use!

However, the only thing I would recommend is that you use three of the same shapes, so the energy can anchor in balanced and harmonious way. This is because different shapes emit the frequency from the crystalline matrix in different ways and mixing them while constructing a precise geometric shape won’t really work well.

You can use a combination of colours if you want to. Just be open to being drawn towards the three pieces you need at the time you do the meditation. You will always know which vibration you lack or need to work with. Just trust. Or if you really can’t decide, put a selection of quartz in front of you, close your eyes and move your hand over the stones, allowing it to stop over the ones you need. You will feel the pull in the palm of your hand.

Feel free to do this exercise many times, using different crystals, and see how the unique vibrations emitted by the stones change and enhance your meditational experience in so many different and beneficial ways.

You can use a specific type of quartz to achieve specific results –

Quartz with chlorite – the green chlorite is used to fill holes in your sacral area connected with lack of self-love, self-worth and self-respect.

Quartz with red hematite – this crystal is associated strongly with Archangel Michael, so you could use it and ask him to join you in the pyramid.

Citrine – holds the energy of the energy of light, happiness and abundance. Who wouldn’t want to sit in a pyramid filled with that?

Amethyst – connects you to your deep inner wisdom.

Anyway, you get the idea. Think about what you want and choose the most effective quartz to ensure you achieve your goal.

When Working with Any Kind of Quartz

Always remember:

Clear intentions always get clear results…

And it is your very clear intention which will achieve the result you want when you work with any variety of quartz. This is because this master healer is empowered by thought forms – which basically means, if you would like help and you direct your request for help in the form of a thought towards the crystal, the energy of that thought will settle in the crystalline matrix, allowing the crystal to work relentlessly until it helps you achieve the perfect result.

Of course, the crystal’s idea of the perfect result can, of course, sometimes differ from yours because they are truly holistic healers. They work on the whole of you, not just the bit you are having problems with! The best thing to do is to always ask the help which is for your highest and greatest good.

In this meditation your intention will mean you expand can the energy fields of the crystals in your three-sided pyramid so you can sit inside them.

Quartz Pyramid Meditation

• Place three crystals around you – one in front and two behind. Optional – place a night light behind the crystals so the flame glows through the stones.
• Close your eyes and make a connection to the energy you wish to use to construct an energetic pyramid and ask it to form a sphere of light above you. This can be anything – Divine Light, Divine Love, Reiki, Mahatma, the Violet Flame, Angelic Light … whatever you feel drawn to work with.
• Then set the intention that the sphere emits three beams – one beam flowing down from the sphere to anchor in the middle of each crystal. This forms your three-sided energetic pyramid. Also be aware that as one forms around you above ground, you may also see or sense another one forming below you under the ground. The sphere of energy will remain above you forming the apex of your pyramid.
• Now open your eyes and look at the crystal in front of you. Be aware of the crystal and the energy anchored inside it and the beam going back to the sphere above you.
• Now look inside the crystal and connect to it on a deeper and deeper level by continuing to gaze at it. Ask the crystal to expand its energy field and see or sense it growing larger and larger until it surrounds you completely, allowing you to rest inside it – physically and energetically.
• Repeat with the other two crystals, and you can connect to them remotely if your space is not large enough for you to actually turn and face them. It is, as always, your intention which will allow you to do this.
• Sit in this energy and journey with your crystals, held safely in their combined and expanded energy fields. If you wish to meet an angel, helper or guide, an ancestor, or the spirit of the crystal while you journey, set this intention now and wait for them to arrive.
• When you feel your journey has finished, dismantle the pyramid by setting the intention that the beams of energy return to the sphere and release the sphere, intending for the energy to go back to Source.
• Thank your crystals and anyone who joined you, ground and return.

Chakras: Heart, Thymus, Throat, Brow and Crown

Pink Kunzite is one of my favourite stones. While my heart was healing in a big way, I used to sleep with it, constantly… for months at a time. I will be talking about this stone, though there are other colours, which will bring different gifts in to your life.

It is a powerful stone and it brings deep emotional healing – on all levels. – and it teaches kindness and compassion, which is what the world needs at the moment – everywhere really. It also soothes grief, loss and feelings of separation. But, most important of all, it teaches you to love yourself …. and we all need reminding to do that, from time to time! It is such a good stone to use at the heart chakra because it helps your heart to remain open, no matter what is happening, or what is coming up for clearing, and because Pink Kunzite has a large amount of Lithium, it is a fantastic stone for stress relief.

Lithium is very, very calming and using it means you remain calm. It has the ability to lift and stabilise your mood, as will any stone containing the mineral – Lithium Quartz and Lepidolite are another two which are also amazing. Lithium can also be used for pain relief as well, and any stone containing it should be placed directly on the skin where the pain is centred. It is particularly helpful if you have arthritis – though, as always, it should not be used as a substitute for a trip to the doctor if you need to go!

The main thing Kunzite does is to enable you to remain open to an abundance of unconditional love, so it is the very best stone to use if you want more love in your life – starting, of course, with loving yourself. It is no good going straight to loving others if you have no idea how to love yourself. It will never work. But Kunzite works in all sorts of ways to bring love into your life and, when you work with it, especially over an extended period, it infuses the whole of your Four Body system with the energy of Divine Unconditional Love.

Kunzite also unites the heart and the mind, allowing both these parts of you to communicate. This is what brings about such deep emotional healing and the heart and the mind working together enables you to express all your authentic thoughts and emotions.

The reason that kunzite manifests love in your life … for everything … is because it is has a very high vibration. So it, in effect, raises your vibrational rate to a frequency bandwidth which allows you to connect with Divine Unconditional Love. It brings you into resonance with the vibration of love! And, as love downloads, quite literally into your life, your thoughts and the way you communicated starts to become more and more loving.

Another benefit of working with the stone is that as it raises your vibrational rate to match its rate, it takes you out of all the low vibrational energy around you – anger, fear, frustration, hate, jealousy – so it no longer affects so easily. You literally rise above it and, as long as you allow the stone to keep your vibrational rate high by keeping in on you or near you, you will feel a lot more comfortable around people who are stuck in lower vibrational energy.

Other things kunzite can do for you:

• removes obstacles from your path
• helps the physical body to recover from the effects of emotional stress.

Using Kunzite

Kunzite should be worn in direct contact with the skin to get the most benefit from it, especially if used for reducing muscle tension and relieving pain. Overnight is often best and it should be cleaned under warm (NOT HOT) running water each time it is used. It can be re-charged overnight in a bowl of hematite tumble stones. Sometimes just gazing at kunzite or holding it for a while will be enough to release stress at the end of an unpleasant day. It will release tense muscles, calm your nerves and release lower vibrational states like anger or fear from your system.

Kunzite clears the aura and strengthens your energy field. It also brings balance and harmony between the physical body and the subtle anatomy. All you have to do to gain these benefits it keep it with you and it starts working as soon as it enters your Four Body System. It’s a marvel!

Kunzite also clears negative energy from a room or environment, filling it with its own uniquely loving energy. All you have to do is leave a piece where you need to clear negativity, but please remember to cleanse the stone regularly if you use it for this purpose. It can also be placed in an area of disturbed Earth energy to block geopathic stress.

Chakra and Kunzite

If you hold the crystal with the striations running up and down vertically, it will align the chakras, connecting them sequentially and balancing them.

• Kunzite activates the Heart Chakra and encourages the energy in your heart to travel up your central channel with the Kunzite energy to align the chakra with the Throat and Brow Chakras. This alignment then helps you to communicate more easily and effectively in a loving way. The energy then moves up to the Crown Chakra, enabling you to become aware of the interconnectedness of all things… on all levels.
• The energy of Kunzite when used at the Throat and Brow Chakras together (i.e. a stone on each chakra or used first on one chakra and then the other if you don’t have two pieces) helps, especially when used with a specific intention, to express your thoughts and emotions  more freely and easily.
• If used on the Heart and the Brow Chakras, it connects your heart and your mind which is so useful in so many ways. I’d be here all day. Just use it with this intention and see what happens!

Meditating with Kunzite

The energy of Kunzite will help you meditate because it calms and soothes you and helps you enter a deeply medative state. It will then open your heart to profound experiences of Divine Unconditional Love.

Other benefits of meditating with this stone include:

• a deeper connection to your intuition
• easier access to guidance from helpers and guides
• easier connection to your Higher Self and other higher aspects of yourself.
• helps you understand everything your helpers and guides share with you and remember it when the meditation has finished.
• Stimulates creativity
• clears any energy which might disrupt your meditation which makes it really helpful for people who find it hard to meditate

If you make a gem elixir from Kunzite, it has a profound calming effect on your heart. An elixir is made by keeping a clean piece of kunzite in a glass container for 12 to 24 hours. The elixir can also be used topically to help soothe skin rashes and irritations caused by allergic reactions to chemicals.

The energy of Kunzite combines well with quite a few stones. Always see which ones you are guided to use it with to get the best result for you – rose quartz, malachite, morganite, emerald, iolite, lapis lazuli, azeztulite and hematite.

Also, to bring balance in a profound way to the heart, use pink kunzite together with hiddenite, which is green kunzite. This variation of kunzite encourages growth and is known as a Stone of Evolution. It helps you grow spiritually and emotionally. It encourages you to begin again and focus on the present, releasing any pain or anxiety from your past. These two stones work incredibly well together and allow you to expand your heart centre in so many beneficial ways. Just get some and go for it!
