Well with Equinox this weekend at another eclipse due on Wednesday – grounding repeatedly is essential, so here are two ways to use red garnet to do it.

EXERCISE ONE

• Lie down and place your garnet on your base chakra
• Set the intention that you want to use the energy of the stone to ground
• Visualise a stream of rich deep red energy flowing from your garnet and going down from your base chakra into the centre of the Earth.
• See or sense the energy returning to your base chakra tinged with golden earth energy.
• Sit in this energy flow for as long as you like.

Additional Note: You may also want to try visualising the red garnet energy running up your central channel to flow out of the crown up to the centre of the sun so you are connected above and below. This will be very powerful, so be sure it’s what you actually need to do before you do it!

EXERCISE TWO

• Set the intention that you want to use the energy of the stone to ground
• Holding your garnet, stand or sit, and visualize the red energy of garnet flowing downwards and forming a red triangle from your base chakra to the floor, as if is filling in space between your legs, which naturally forms a triangle.
• Continue the visualization until you feel fully grounded and if you want to you can carry the stone for the rest of the day.

Although red garnet is usually listed as a base chakra stone, you can also use it on your heart chakra. Try it and see! It works wonders. It brings calmness and peacefulness to this energy centre, which is always handy! It is a wonderful stone to use if you want to open your heart.

It can also remove negativity from all the chakras as well and using it from the base and continuing up to the crown is astonishingly effective.

Lastly, it stimulates energy from both the base and crown chakras, allowing it to flow freely along the spinal column and the central channel, distributing the appropriate amount of energy to each part of the body.

Well, there I was researching crystals you could use for growth and transition during the eclipse season and three robins appeared outside my car while I was parking it. Three… was the Universe thinking I wouldn’t be paying attention at such a ridiculous hour in the morning and I might miss one? Well, actually, quite probably, yes, as I am most definitely not a morning person…

So three certainly did make me sit up and take note and start Googling Robin as a totem… and at that point I thought .. AH … crystals can come later…
Robin is the guide who allows you to see the wisdom of change, growth and renewal. Jeez, I think we probably need a whole flock of them!

So, during March, please spend some time with Robin … a physical or non-physical one, which ever you prefer! We are certainly going to need Robin’s energy as we move through all the changes we have to make after the two eclipses.

Okay – so the energy of March …
After three coronal holes and a ridiculous amount of solar flares in February bringing loads and loads of our deeply buried rubbish to the surface for clearing – do we get a break in March? No, of course not! We have a total solar eclipse on 8th/9th March, depending on where you are… and a partial lunar eclipse on 23rd March with the Equinox on 20th. I am beginning to think we will never get any time off for good behaviour! I mean we are doing our best down here – we really are!
However, that said, eclipses are fabulous tools which, if used properly, can enable us to see which areas of our life are working and which are not and this then enables us to initiate change on a very deep level. Your choice is whether you let that change help or hinder your personal growth process… and two in a few weeks means we will have to make the changes quickly and adapt fast to the new energy we find ourselves inhabiting… lovely!!!
Two trigger turning points in quick succession can be a good thing, though. It takes us into the energy of choicelessness, which is often useful. It enables us to surrender to the change process more easily … or maybe it’s just me! But, if change is coming, surrendering to it rather than resisting it is always the smartest choice…
So start thinking now about what you need to change in your life before you are forced to do it. It will make the whole process much easier to handle and far less traumatic… because whether you go with the flow or resist it, during an eclipse window (the energy available before and after the event as well as during the event) the Universe always is very, very clear about what it wants to do for you – and that is move you forward! Are you really, seriously going to fight something as big as the Universe…? Trust me – surrendering is a much easier option!
During any eclipse window something always happens … something ends and something begins and you will find that you can never go back to the way things were before the energy shifted. So if you know a shift is coming – why not work ahead of time and make the shift something wonderful rather than something far more negative.
Look at your life and see what needs to change, what needs to be released or enhanced using the energy available at the time of the eclipse. Make it work for you rather than against you. But be aware that any changes will either happen instantly or over a period of months after the event. You have to just go with the flow without knowing what the specific outcome will be … sounds about right for us at the moment, doesn’t it!
As a general rule, solar eclipses (8th/9th March) mostly create new beginnings and new opportunities while lunar eclipses tend to create endings and can be far more emotional (23rd march).  So armed with this information, it will allow you to plan what you want to use the energy of the eclipses for rather than just getting caught up with it … clear intentions get clear results, so make the most of it!
And be aware than any eclipse will always provide you with information that you need to know about … of course, it may not always be information that you want to know about, but that’s life at the moment! What you have to do is learn not judge this information as good or bad. It is just knowledge which can help you see your life more clearly and enable you to make smarter choices about what you want to clear or manifest in your life.
One of the important things to look out for with the solar eclipse in March is what is known as the Chiron Wound – the Soul Wound we have come to deal with in this lifetime – a truly deep wound on a soul level. And helpfully for us, the lunar eclipse on 23rd will provide some insights on how we need to deal with the wound and start to clear it from our system. It is always a wound which touches the mind, body or soul in a profound way – an illness, disease or injury at the physical, psychological or spiritual level which is often attached to the theme of this lifetime. And as such, it is a wound which can be triggered by events in this life time or a wound brought forward into this lifetime from a previous one. Either way, it has to be dealt with, and eclipses like the ones in March can be used to gain great insight into our on-going journey towards wholeness.
So – all you have to do is decide what you want to do next?
There is one, brief window of respite, which is the Equinox on 20th March. This day with twelve hours of light and twelve hours of darkness will allow the energy of balance to flow into our lives – a useful thing when you are in the middle of two honking great energy shifts! But, please be aware that this can also make you painfully aware of what things are not balanced in your life as well. More information we should not judge, but just use to move forward…
So, all in all, a fun month ahead… though it may well be a strange new use of the word fun which many of us were previously unaware of if we are not paying attention to the moving and shifting of the energy around us.
My only advice – watch what comes up for clearing … and make sure you clear it! You will feel better afterwards. And, if you need help, ask for it! Don’t be daft and try and do it on your own if you know you can’t. There are people around who can help … both physical and non-physical. Avail yourself of this help … on all levels… and make sure you are working as much as possible with your helpers and guides who can provide great insight at this time. The only alternative is to go to bed on March 7th and hide under your duvet until the end of the month! The only trouble with that is – you may feel better while you are actually hiding under the duvet, but the changes will still be there waiting for you when you come out. You might as well just give in and get on with it and use the energy available during March to make it as painless as possible!

Well, now we are into the New Year and desperately wanting to make that new start by getting rid of things we don’t like about ourselves – usually a thought or behaviour pattern – how do we do it? Resolutions rarely work. I’ve stopped making them. It just gives us an excuse to get out that proverbial  big stick and beat ourselves about the head with it. We are happy to set all these impossible targets and then just as happy to do absolutely nothing about achieving them. We’ve all done it and hated ourselves afterwards as well. How stupid is that?

So, given that for an intelligent species we can be incredibly stupid about this, can I offer an alternative, from Ascended Master Djwhal Khul through Dr Joshua David Stone? When I learned this technique I found it really useful and thought this was the perfect time of year to share it. I mean, why battle against a negative pattern you are struggling with, or have been struggling with for years when you can … well … just nuke it and have done with it!

The blue triangle Ascended Master Djwhal Khul suggests you work with is created from the energy of the second planetary ray of Love/Wisdom. It is an extremely powerful energy and it contains and embodies the Divine quality of love and the desire for pure knowledge and absolute truth. It is a deep intense blue.

I assume Djwhal Khul brought the idea forward while he was Chohan of the second ray because he has now moved on. But, bless him, he will still be more than happy to work with you while you are clearing your Four Body System if you want him to. It was after all, his idea! All you have to do is ask him.

Or if you find you do not resonate with him, Ascended Master Kuthumi also works with the second ray energy and can be called on. Or if you prefer angelics – Jophiel and Christine serve on the second ray and Apollo and Lumina are the Elohim associated with the ray as well

So, you have a whole host of people ready and willing to help and support you if you are really serious about bringing about the changes you want in your life this January! Or, if all else fails, there is always your own helpers and guides who are always with you.

So, what do you do?

Well it couldn’t be easier… you visualise a blue triangle above your head!  Yes, it really is that simple! If you Google the technique it, helpfully, won’t tell you which way up to visualise the darn thing, of course! All I can say is I tried it both ways – base above the head and apex at the top and apex above the head and base at the top. I have to say visualising the apex at my crown chakra, the triangle slotted nicely in to the chakra and acted like a vortex, sucking out everything I put into it. It was great, but do try both ways and see which one suits you the most. It might be the other one.

So, what else will enhance this seriously good cleaning process?

1. Have a very clear intention that you want the energy of the second planetary ray of Love/Wisdom to create your triangle otherwise it’s just an ordinary blue triangle!
2. Be very clear about which negative pattern (thought or behaviour) that you want to place inside the triangle!
3. Ask for anything you place in the triangle to be burned up by the intense spiritual energies contained within it.
4. Then just go for it and shove anything you like inside your handy triangle!

Of course, there are other additional things you can do. You can ask the helper or guide you choose to work with what would be the most beneficial thing for you to clear. After all, we all do seem to have more than one thing which needs to go or is dragging us down. In fact, some days it feels as if the list of things we need to deal with, energetically speaking, is endless… how lucky for us!! But with this technique you can just keep clearing and clearing until everything on your list has magically gone because it’s so quick and easy to use.

Anyway, when the faulty negative pattern has been identified by your support team, you can ask them to list what other additional patterns associated with it are also operating within in, so you can make sure you put everything in your triangle and nuke the lot, rather than only spotting one thing yourself and having to deal with the rest another time. Just do it all and have done with it!

So, have a happy January and a happy time clearing all those things you would have turned into a New Year’s resolution you would have just ignored. This year you can do something about it and feel fabulous afterwards!

To Do or Not to Do ….

Although, at the moment, we are constantly changing – on all levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual … and quite probably on all planes and in all dimensions, but that’s a whole different blog! And, as time is bizarrely being deconstructed around us, sometimes it is very easy to slip back into old, familiar ways. But as the sun sets on Solstice Day, why not let its light show you new ways, which will lead to new adventures? I mean. at this point in our evolutionary journey, what have we got to lose?

For many, many years, every Solstice I have gone to Avebury. I don’t just love the place, I adore it. And I had planned to go this year. It’s what I’ve always done and thought I would always do. It is, for want of a better phrase, my “happy” place and in many ways it is home as I have spent several lifetimes with those beautiful stones. They sometimes sing to me when I’m not there, softly calling until I journey south to see them… and what a sound they make when they sing. There are simply no words to describe it, so the idea of not going to sing with them was deeply distressing for me.

But, as with all things now, what you have always done, is not always what you need to do when you seriously start to live in the NOW moment. You have to do what is right in that instant of time. Not what was right the last time you thought about it. You could have changed a dozen times since then! But sometimes the pull of what has been is very powerful and the choice often becomes stick with the old or open to the new, which will always encourage expansion and growth. So, I guess, no Avebury for me this year.

But, what do you do when you suddenly find you can’t do what you always do… well, of course, you can look for signs, but it’s easy to miss them when you are only looking at the past , assuming it will also be the future. You forget to look in the NOW. For an intellegent species, we can be really daft!

So, while I was sulking about not seeing my lovely stones, I picked up a book I hadn’t read in nearly 30 years and I was amazed. Reading it now was a revelation. I understood it on so many different levels. It was Glastonbury – Avalon of the Heart by Dion Fortune. Goodness only knows what the younger version of me made of it, but the older version felt my heart  open and I saw what I had never seen before – my deep connection to the place.

In my 20s the connection was Arthur. His legend was the thing that  made me take the journey from London. Then in my 40s it was the shopping … all those books and crystals are irreistable! And now in my 50s I found it was something else entirely. It was Brigid.

I love Brigid, Bridgit, Brede, Bride, Brigantia – the goddess of many names. But I usually only work with her at Imbolc and Summer Solstice. So, when I had an overwhelming urge to play Brigid by Damn the Bard I was a bit surprised until I found the reference in my book saying she was at Glastonbury, and spent time in quiet contemplation on the Isle of Beckary near Wearyall Hill. I must have known, I’ve read the book before, but I had completely forgotten and I had to open to the possibility that Glastonbury was the place to go this Solstice. Not what I was expecting at all. I was probably still secretly hoping it was all a mistake and I could go to Avebury!

But, even if I don’t go to Glastonbry, the thought of doing it is enough to break the old, rigid ways within me and open me to something more… to other possibilities, other eneries, which will still be a great blessing.

So what are you doing this Solstice? What you always do? Or what you need to do as the Wheel of the Year turns and the light returns, allowing us to move slowly towards the start of our outward cycle of growth?

Do yourself a favour – check and make sure you are doing what needs to be done and be ready to release the old if you need to, to make room for the new. And find a place to go, or a ritual to do, which helps you move forward rather than hinders your progress, your never-ending journey towards the light, and embodying more Divine Light as a blessing for all on the earthplane at this time.

Let something quicken your spiritual life and re-vitalise your soul this Solstice… find the place you need to be, or the people you need to be with and go for it!

So, what is HomoLuminous and what does it have to do with 12:12? Read on…

12:12 is just what we all need when everything seems to be going to hell in a hand basket – a pre-encoded date to trigger a new level of awareness. And we can’t avoid it ether because it happens on 12^th December, whether we want to be changed or not, and it can be felt most intensely at 12.12 p.m. – what surprise!

But what does 12:12 mean? Well, numerologically speaking, the energy of the day and the gateway or portal which opens contains the energy of:

1 – resonates with creation and new beginnings, courage, attainment and inspiration, self-leadership, assertiveness and initiative. This number contains all the energy you need to create your reality with your thoughts, beliefs and actions and it also encourages you to step right out of your comfort zone to achieve your goals.

Good, but challenging – eh?

2 – resonates with balance and harmony, duality, faith, devotion, insight, co-operation, adaptability, diplomacy, partnership and relationship. It also resonates with faith and trust and fulfilling your soul purpose.

Good again, which is just as well since the numbers are used twice and their energy is amplified…

Also 12 + 12 is also 3 + 3 = 6 which is the frequency of the Star of David, so the energy of the gateway will ignite your light body or merkaba. If you light body is activated, intending to use the energy downloaded from the gateway to enhance it will be good, as will meditating on the shape of the Star of David.

The actual gateway is different from the one on 11:11. That was an angelic gateway. This one is connected to Unity Consciousness and the golden Christ Consciousness energy. It is an opportunity to connect with this beautiful energy or a chance to deepen your connection if you are already attuned.

And, if you keep seeing the numbers 12:12 on clocks or other digital displays, it is always a sign that the doorway to the higher realms is opening. All you have to do is decide is 1) what does this mean to or for you? And 2) are you going to step through the doorway and have an adventure?

Although 12:12 always offers a chance to upgrade your energy system with a Light Code download, plus a new initiation into high frequencies of light, this year it is specifically upgrading your thymus chakra. This is because the 12:12 download always anchors new structures in your energy system and they are targeting this chakra. It will ignite it if you are not currently working with the chakra or activate it at a new, higher level if you are. It is also known as the Higher Heart and it is the place where you experience and appreciate compassion for the world, rather than the giving and receiving of love which is what the heart chakra regulates.

Handily for us, Haniel, who is the Angel of December, (see previous blog for more info) is responsible for the Thymus Chakra and is ready and waiting to help. All you have to do is ask! He can oversee the whole download process for you and this enormous influx of golden light will open you and the chakra to love, compassion, forgiveness and choice, but only if you are willing to receive the high frequencies contained within it. It will also open new pathways for unconditional love to move in and through all aspects of your life. Who wouldn’t want that… or a lovely angel’s help?

As always, all you have to do is let the available energy into your system – preferably at 12:12 if you can. Call in Haniel or any of your helpers and guides to support your work and ask for the incoming energy to align your heart and your thymus with the downloading energy. This will allow you to act as a lightening rod and vast quantities of the golden Christ Consciousness energy can flow through you and ground into the earth. You will benefit as the energy flows through your system and everyone else will benefit once it is anchored on the earthplane.

Make sure you are seriously grounded and then let the energy enter your crown chakra and flow out of your base into Mother, but always ask for it to hit your system at the most appropriate frequency for you at this time. This is high frequency energy and you need to work with it safely. You should also ask your helpers and guides to ensure your system stabilises at the most appropriate frequency for you when you have finished working and earth any excess energy into the ground.

And what does HomoLuminous have to do with all this – well, all this light means you have an opportunity to become a Divine Being of Light in human form – just what we want! A chance to glow over the Holiday season!!!

The 11:11 gateway is always powerful, but everything I’ve looked at recently seems to indicate that this year it will be REALLY powerful .. just what we need after all the other stuff which has been happening. Still, we agreed to be here, so we have to deal with it. It’s down to how do we choose to deal with this next influx of intense light? Will you manifest a good transition or a bad one? I’m all for sneaking through this particular doorway with ease and grace and integrating all the light and the additional light codes nice and smoothly…
Although there are lots of significant double dates in a year, 11:11 always seems to be different. It is a massive energetic doorway leading to a new version of you, of reality, of your connection to what you perceive as the Divine. If you look at the shape of the actual number, it creates two pillars. This is the gateway or portal people refer to and if you use the number as a visualisation, you can see or sense yourself standing between the two pillars, receiving all you need from the portal. You can visualise the incoming energy flowing down between the two pillars as a column of light and set whatever intention you are guided to use to access everything contained within it for your highest and Greatest good. And if you can do it at 11 minutes past 11 …well, ….Try it – it’s astonishing! And, if you have a piece of fulgurite, it will enhance the process.
The space between the digits in the number 11 creates space for us and it is a space which will allow us to be inspired, to receive wisdom, love, and be in complete alignment with Source. I’m up for it. Are you?
This portal is seen as a chance to bring about the full integration of the Self. So just go for it. Ask the energy to allow you to manifest your Authentic Self on all levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Everything else this year has been pushing us towards this. I think it’s time to just give in and allow it to happen. The number 11 holds the qualities of patience, honesty, spirituality, sensitivity, intuition and is idealistic and compassionate. If you are
drawn to the number for any reason, it is often seen as an indication that you operate on a different energetic level than most, and when two people come together who both have this type of energy, it’s a case of … well, light blue touch paper, stand well back time!
So if you are constantly looking at the clock and seeing the time 11:11, or noticing it on your phone or tablet or even seeing the number in car number plates, watch out! A new kind of energy and a new way or working with it is coming your way. It is an activation code. All you have to do is open to receive it. If you realise you are seeing the double digits, ask what you need to be doing and seize the opportunity with both hands! Seeing this sequence over and over again is always a sign which indicates a period of accelerated soul growth.
11:11 is the universe’s way of urging us to pay attention to our heart, our soul and our intuition. It is often a massive wake-up call. It is the universe’s way of saying: open your eyes and become aware of all the opportunities which are manifesting around you. It often means you need to pay particular attention to coincidences. They are not coincidences, but synchronicities.
11 is what is known as a Master Number and it carries extraordinary potential. The number 1 shows you what it does. It is the only number which is completely straight -up and down. The shape represents a column, an antenna, a direct conduit from Spirit to matter, not to mention Earth to the Cosmos. How fab is that! Think of what it will give you access to if you use your intention wisely! It is gives you an unobstructed channel through which the energy of this gateway can reach from the heavens to the earth and flow into you!
And the number also means this energy (which also holds the vibrations of initiation, invention and beginnings as well as the other qualities listed above.) will be received at lightening speed in the form of ideas and inspiration. The energy of 1 always moves quickly through us, and needs to be processed and shaped by us to become manifest. This is because Master Numbers energetically intensify the meanings of single digits. They are considered to be some of the most powerful vibrations known on the earthplane and They symbolize raw untapped potential and can help you achieve illumination. But that, of course, may mean different things to different people.

Spend some time on 11:11 considering what illumination actually means to you and how you can get more of it.
Another thing 11:11 does is it allows you to manifest what you want on the earthplane. This is because if you add 11:11 it is 4 (1+1+1+1 = 4) and this is the number of the Earth, matter and physical manifestation. It reminds us that we co-create our lives and our reality with the Divine, and that we have the ability to manifest whatever we feel inspired to create.
If we consciously work with the energy 11th November it will not only teach us how to master our lives, it will teach us to manifest the reality we truly want..
Also the other thing which will pack an nice energetic punch on the day is the fact that Sirius and Sol (our Sun) create a Vesica Pisces (two overlapping circles). This is a Creation Portal which allows powerful cosmic and galactic energies to be transmitted to Earth…. gulp! It manifests in the small oval shapes where the circles overlap. Well, what can I say about the Ancestors? As it’s nearly Samhain, and the veil is already thinning, I guess I ought to say something. For those who know them, words don’t mean a lot. Knowing they are close is really special. And, if you haven’t met them yet … well, where do I start? The subject is as vast as the number of people in your ancestral line!

Each culture has its own way of remembering their beloved dead, of working with them, helping them and, of course, honouring them. So, all I can do is mention a few things which are meaningful to me. If they don’t mean much to you, do something else. I can only speak of my journey with the Ancestors. It won’t necessarily be the same as yours. You will need to find your own way home.

And, be very sure about this – HOME is the perfect word to describe the experience. There is nothing quite like suddenly realising all the people who have gone before you are still there, helping you, supporting you and, of course, loving you … well, unless they are very grumpy ancestors. There are a few! All you can do is keep blessing them!

So where do I start with this huge topic? At the beginning… my first encounter was with a gentleman who was two hundred and fifty years behind me. I asked to clear a specific thing from the ancestral line and he was the one who started the problem. And goodness me, he was very, very grumpy. By jolly, he made it quite clear it was his dysfunction and he liked it. It gave his life meaning and purpose. It made him feel strong and it made everyone else who came after him miserable in one way or another. But I was determined it was going to stop in my generation. So, what to do? It’s one thing to have done the training and quite another to be faced with an invisible angry person who thinks you are meddling in something which doesn’t concern you. Gulp!

But one of the many ways you can help your ancestors is not necessarily to heal them, but to love them, to acknowledge them, to honour them, or even just to offer them the quality they lacked in their lifetime. I discovered very quickly that this man had never been loved. Not once, so I simply blessed him with the love and compassion from deep within my heart. He was astonished, puzzled, overwhelmed and, within a very short time, a completely different ancestor. After all, love is the greatest healing modality of them all!

After that, when the Ancestors discovered I was aware of them, they were all coming forward wanting one thing or another. That is the downside…. in our culture they have been ignored for so long now they think it’s great when they are finally noticed. I mean if you’d been ignored for hundreds of years wouldn’t you be pleased to be acknowledged? So you have to make sure you set very firm boundaries and let them know you will only work with them when it is appropriate. If you don’t do this, you will find them, turning up all the time. They can be relentless! But they are also loving, encouraging, supportive.

Another experience happened some time ago, a few weeks   before Remembrance Day. I became aware of a Tommy around me, but I didn’t know anyone who had fought in WWI. In the end, I asked because the man was not going away and when I found out his name, I asked him to step closer – having already set my boundaries so he couldn’t come closer until he was asked… there is nothing wrong with insisting the Ancestors treat you politely!

It turned out he and the others he fought with were afraid no one would remember them and their great sacrifice was going to be forgotten because there were so very few people left who knew what they did. All they needed, bless them, was for someone to do that, to remember what they did in The Great War, so we could be free. I lit a candle for them on my ancestor altar and said I would do that, and I was reduced to tears when I stood for the two minutes silence on 11/11. My ancestor turned up with his whole battalion. I was completely surrounded and we all stood in silence together. I felt such love from these men, such relief and I remember them all now every year because no one should forget what they did just because they are gone now. Well, gone for most people anyway.

But, please don’t think working with the Ancestors is always serious or painful. It can be if someone needs help, but, there are happy times as well. After all, being reunited with some of these people, especially if you have known them, is quite beautiful. And just knowing they are there brings great joy, not to mention relief, as does knowing they are more than happy to help and support you when you need it. It means, despite appearances to the contrary – quite simply – you are never alone. Not ever. They are always there – all you have to do is… well, allow yourself to perceive them, to become aware of their presence in the best way for you. Some people see, some hear, some know and some feel. But in the end, whichever way you experience the other realms, your heart will always know and it will open to receive the love these people have for you.

I am glad the Ancestors are in my life now, even the grumpy ones, though I never dreamed I would ever say that! But they are part of me. I carry them all in my DNA. I am the sum of all those who have gone before me and I love them dearly, especially when they make me smile.

So on 31^st October light a candle for your beloved dead and welcome them home. The light will show them the way. In our house we have dinner, setting another place for any who want to join us and putting some of our food on the plate for them. It is a simple thing the Celts used to do at Samhain and we like it. They honoured anyone who has passed, welcoming them home for the night, and the Church eventually took a lovely festival and used it to vilify our honoured dead, turning them into nothing more than ghosts and ghouls. It’s even worse now with Trick or Treating… but I won’t go there. We don’t open the door and we eat by candle light, sitting afterwards while the candle burns down because most of the Ancestors never knew about electric lighting. It brings us a little closer to them. But, in the end, just do what ever feels right for you. It will be perfect.

And don’t forget a partner or spouse who has passed can still be counted as an Ancestor. They Are known as Ancestors of the Heart. You simply have to let them know they are included. They will come because you have loved them, whether they are a blood relative or not. And trust me when I say – they will be happy to be remembered and to know they are still loved because they – like all the others – have not gone.

I think describing the way energized particles are ejected from the sun as the sun vomited is perfect. It gives you such a vivid mental image and you can almost see all those tiny pieces of solar energy (called the solar wind once they leave the sun and whiz towards us) flying away from the star. It looks beautiful and is amazing… until, of course, they slam into the Earth’s magnetosphere. That’s when those of us who are sensitive run into trouble. As the Earth’s magnetic field is disrupted, so are all the other smaller magnetic fields held within it, including ours. It’s a macrocosm and microcosm thing.
We also have to deal with a huge influx of light cascading through our system as well and it is rather like a really bright torch being pointed into all our dark places, illuminating them, and showing us all the things we have carefully left there where they can’t be found or even seen. Foolishly, we think we are safe, but this kind of light exposes them and brings them all up to the surface so we have no choice but to deal with them. How lovely for us, eh?
So, for those of you who knew the sun developed a coronal hole* last week, the chaos which followed with all the usual symptoms – exhaustion, mood swings, headaches, joint and muscle pain, nausea, irritation … the list goes on and on unfortunately – would have come as no surprise. It was only a pain in the proverbial! If you didn’t know, it will explain why you felt so appalling. Or, alternatively, you may have even been tempted to get a BIG stick and smack the back of someone’s head… or maybe it just me! But having your nerves severely jangled for days on end can cause all sorts of unusual and unexpected responses.
(*A hole forms in the surface of the sun allowing particles from the centre of the star to be ejected rather than just surface matter flying away.)
The really sensitive ones among us can feel the actual eruption from the sun’s surface. It’s a bit of a shock and then everyone else feels it about 48 hours later when the energized particles actually arrive – it’s a long way from the sun to here! And coming so soon after the week at the end of September when we had 8 solar flares, it has probably been a bit much. So, now things have started to settle, I thought I’d recommend a crystal to work with: Unikite.

Helpfully, the qualities of Unikite are balancing and stabilizing, both of which will help enormously and it also release emotions, so it will help you get rid of anything the influx of light brought up for clearing. What a fabulous stone!
Helpful Tip: if you have been feeling emotionally confused, anxious, depressed or as if you have no idea what the future holds for you, sleep with Unikite under your pillow. I think that description covers most things we have been experiencing since these huge energy shifts started earlier in the year and we are back to dashing to the nearest crystal shop, probably looking for an industrial sized stone. But, fear not, even a small tumble stone will work!
Sleeping with Unikite will also help if you want to resolve any issues from your past. When you wake, you will often find you have greater clarity about the whole situation and have new ideas about how to deal with it. Unikite encourages you to live in the present rather than the past, so it is great for this kind of work.
Chakra Work: the most beneficial thing to do right now is to use Unikite on the base and earthstar chakras – simultaneously if you have two pieces or work with the base then the earthstar. It stimulates these chakras, enhancing the grounding mechanism, and it will allow any excess energy in your system to move down through the base chakra, so it can be safely earthed. Meditation – hold your Unikite and notice the way the pink and the green swirl and blend together to make up this beautiful stone. Feel the serene energy of the stone flow into you, calming you. Ask it to balance and stabilize you on all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual – and sit quietly while this happens. Feel the crystal start to warm you and translate that warmth into self-appreciation. Allow yourself to become aware of yourself in new ways and to fully acknowledge exactly how special and unique you are and what fabulous gifts you bring to the earthplane.
Now ask the Unikite to bring to the surface anything which is inhibiting or limiting your growth process and or your ability to fully appreciate yourself. And, when the stone does this, intend that any negative energy is released with ease and grace. You do not have to re-connect with it, just breathe it out. Let it float safely away on your out breath.
If you become aware of any blockages in your chakras during the release process, place your stone there and ask for its help. Or if you feel any tension in your physical body, you can place the stone there as well. Just remember to blow on the stone to clean it if you move it to move than one location.
After a while, if you want to, you can use an affirmation to enhance your release process. And remember: sound + intent = healing or result. The thought you have before you speak or make any kind of sound will have a huge affect on what you want to achieve. So set the intention you want to resonate the whole of your physical body and your subtle bodies with the sound of your words and keep repeating them until you feel the vibration everywhere. And, if you can think of a better way to phrase this – go for it. The affirmation is only a guide for you to follow. However, you do not have to follow it blindly!
I release limitation on all levels and allow myself to open to a feeling of self-appreciation.
So, I hope you enjoy making a new friend with Unikite. It is a lovely stone and it will support anyone who is feeling lost, overwhelmed or who is having trouble focussing on the here and now. And if you are lucky enough to have more than one piece, leaving several in a bowl in a room will bring a gentle calming energy into your environment – what more could you want with all this mad, disruptive energy about? It also helpfully reduces the effects of electromagnetic smog.
And one last thing – if you need to boost Unikite’s vibration of love and compassion – use it with Varisite, Tugtupite or Dioptase.
Unikite is a stone which just keeps on giving. Have fun with it!

Some days it feels like it will never end, doesn’t it? And, at this point, all we can do is hang in there and remember Unikite is happy to help. All you have to do in return is offer thoughts of love and gratitude after it has helped you! And clean it … leaving a stone cram-packed full of all your rubbish is a cruel thing to do!
